I also get hired as a freelancer to produce promotional videos for various clients. It's another way to use my skill set to think creatively and help brand a company or an individual. This kind of work puts my directing and shooting chops to the test, and brings out great collaboration and surprises. Promos are just another way to tell people's stories, as long as you approach it with the mindset that part of the client's personal journey will ultimately help brand them and their product.
A was hired to help produce 2 videos for author and journalist Paul Tough, for his book "Helping Children Succeed". Paul and his representation, The Lavin Agency were a pleasure to work with, and our videos helped visually illustrate the ideas in Paul's book and are being used as a tool to help enhance his speaking career.
This video was a collaboration with the boys Rob & Mark from Qwikly for their initial Kickstarter campaign launch. They reached their goal and are off and running creating and selling an app that helps speed up the workflow of creatives and developers alike.
